I am often amazed by claims of companies claiming to offer the ultimate skin care product. The fact is, there is no such thing as the ultimate skin product. Because skin care products work based upon each individuals skin type, making a claim to be the best is a falsehood. The reality, when it comes to skin care products, is that what works well for one may not work at all for others.

In order to make an informed decision when it comes to selecting a skin care product, your first thought should be to consider your type of skin. When it comes to skin types, the general classifications are oily skin, dry skin, normal skin and sensitive skin.

While finding out your skin type helps, this is still not enough information in order for you to find a skin care product that will work for you.

Now that you understand the basics, the real question you should be asking yourself is "What's the best skin care product for me?" Unfortunately, this is a difficult question to answer. However, if you put in a bit of effort and take some time and do your research, you can find the best skin care product for you.

The Raw Vegetable Diet Means Weight Loss Without Cooking!

this diet sounds like a throwback to the early days of our civilization when everyone had a garden. In fact this plan is very similar to a vegetarian diet because most of the food consists of fruits and vegetables. The plan focuses on raw vegetables especially because it is well-known that raw foods contain nutrients that are lost in the canning and preservation process.

The Raw Foods diet emphasizes eating foods in their purest form. Fruits, most vegetables, nuts, and other grains can be eaten without any cooking done to them. Most meals in this diet consist of salads - even at breakfast. Salad dressing can be simple like oil and vinegar or lemon juice.

The carbohydrate count on this diet is low. Any processed food like breads, pastas, and rice are eliminated. Vegetables provide carbohydrates but in low quantities. Large quantities of vegetables have to be eaten to get a high level of carbohydrates.

Deary products are not part of the raw food diet. In fact, not even milk is allowed. There is one exception however, coconut milk. Many dieters find that it has a great taste even though the consistency is different.

Drinks consist of only a few options. Water of course is a main part of the diet. You won't have to worry about getting eight glasses a day since most vegetables have a major water component to them. Fruit juices that are 100% juice can be consumed along with smoothies and the coconut milk.

It's no wonder people lose weight on the Raw Foods diet. No matter how many vegetables you eat, you won't eat enough to keep from dropping the pounds. This diet can be rather bland even with spices on the vegetables since there is little or no cooking involved.

Variations do exist on the plan. Some people add processed grains and cooked vegetables in moderation. Others add fish and possibly chicken to their diet plan. Fish can be cooked in acid like lemon juice if dieters don't want to keep close to the "raw" idea.

Participants of the Raw Foods diet receive the needed protein through nuts and legumes. For people that exercise or want some sort of variety in their eating plan, this diet can be difficult especially coming from a Western society where foods use fat to enhance the taste. But when it's time to buy your hair care products, how do you know which are the best ones to use?

High street products seem much more affordable and therefore giving you better value for money because of the low cost of high street hair products. Branded premium salon products can appear pricey with the average 300ml shampoo bottle priced at 5 times the cost ($20/GBP10) of a regular high street shampoo ($4/GBP2).

On just this kind of price comparison alone, it appears that the cheap high street hair products are the winners as you are getting 5 times as much product for the same cost, or the same amount of product for 1/5 the price of the salon professional hair care products.

However… when you carry out a closer inspection of the differences between cheap hair products and professional salon hair products, does cheap hair care products really provide the better value for money, or is buying cheap hair products a false economy? Let's take a closer look…

To find out whether the premium brand salon hair products provide better value for money in both the short and long term when compared to cheap high street hair care products, we decided to test them to find out the real truth about hair products, and whether the high street products are as good a deal as they initially appear.

For our test we compared a 300ml bottle of professional salon shampoo and compared that with a 300ml bottle of your average cheap high street shampoo. To achieve the our required standard of cleaning, the professional salon shampoo needed just 10ml per application to achieve this standard, whereas the cheap high street shampoo needed 50ml per application to achieve the same standard of cleaning.

Using 50ml per application, the average high street hair shampoo provides approximately 6 applications per 300ml bottle. With just 10ml used per application, the professional salon hair shampoo gives you around 30 applications per 300ml bottle. Doing a little math, the cost per applications are $0.64c/GBP0.32p for the cheap high street shampoo, and $0.66c/GBP0.33p for the salon professional shampoo.

Summary: at first glance, cheaper high street hair products appear to be a better buy and provide value for money, but on closer scrutiny there is but a hair's breadth of difference in the price of salon hair products, and cheap hair products. When you add the better quality and effectiveness of salon products into the equation, the salon products turn out to be much better value for money. Q? Why would you use anything other than the highest quality hair care products on your hair?

We can all thank the ancient Chinese for drawing our attention to the wonders that may be found in a simple yet pleasurable cup of green tea.

Many many years ago in ancient China, green tea was known to cure headaches and depression. Nowadays, the benefits of green tea is making it popular and has increased the number of people regularly drinking this soothing drink.

Tea comes in many forms and varieties, but there are three uniquely different types of tea.

Whether black, green, or red, all tea originates from the leaves of a warm weather evergreen known as Camellia Sinensis and it's the processing that ultimately makes the differences in the end product.

The longer the leaves are processed, the darker the tea becomes. Thus, green tea is the kind which has undergone the least amount of processing.

Green tea is usually a leaf that has been quickly steamed while the blacks and reds have been dried, crushed and fermented making them appear to be stronger and thus more potent.

Don't be misled by this visible characteristic, as many believe that the closer it is to its natural state, the more valuable the medicinal and healing properties.

Tea is known to have polyphenols, an antioxidant which helps protect our bodies from free radical damage.

ORAC score is used to measure antioxidant amounts, and tea scores higher than many fruits and vegetables. Because of this, you should seriously consider including tea in your daily diet.

Aside from preventing blood clotting, studies have shown than polyphenols can decrease cholesterol levels. Consuming four to six cups a day may also reduce gastric, esophageal and skin cancers. Try searching through the internet and you will see the endless list of ailments, aches, and pains that can be relieved by simply drinking green tea.

Among the ailments that have been cured are cancer, heart disease, rheumatoid arthritis, and impaired immune functions.

But many don't realize that the benefits of drinking green tea may also be found to aid us against digestive disorders, Alzheimer's and Parkinson's while raising metabolism and increasing fat oxidation. It's even reported to help prevent tooth decay by killing the bacteria which causes dental plaque.

Regardless of the reason you might have for drinking green tea, it's clear that everyone can derive some benefit from daily consumption.

It should be stated that many of today's more popular "herbal teas" may or may not be tea at all because these products have already been blended with herbs and spices with other plant parts included for flavoring.

These do not contain the health promoting qualities of Camellia Sinensis. Check the ingredients carefully and make sure that you are buying the product that you expect.

Trampoline Exercises - A Great Way To Get Fit

Sometimes kids know what adults don't. And certainly any child will tell you that jumping on a trampoline is fun. But understand that trampolines are not just for kids. Adults are learning that bouncing is not only fun, but that trampoline exercises are a tremendous way to get healthy.

If you've ever attempted an exercise routine, chances are you quit because it became boring. It's probably the main reason people don't stick to them. But since trampolines are so much fun, there's a better chance you'll stay with the routine. And you'll be losing weight and toning your muscles without the aid of a bunch of other exercise equipment.

So how does it work? Well obviously bouncing on a trampoline is a cardiovascular workout. Like running on the streets or on a treadmill, it will increase your heart rate and strengthen a lot of your vital organs. This type of exercise will also increase your metabolism, which in turn, speeds up your efforts to lose weight. And the constant motion on a trampoline will improve your blood flow, give you more endurance, and also help rid your body of many toxins that lead to weight gain and poor health.

And by consistently jumping you'll be strengthening your leg muscles. Do you want to target your back muscles? Then just jump while keeping your legs straight. Add in arm motions, like swinging them with every jump, and you'll help tone your arms as well. If you want increased strength you can add ankle weights or hold lightweight hand weights to increase resistance. But a word of caution, only add the additional weight after you are comfortable with your trampoline exercises.

People with back problems often find trampoline exercises helpful. The jumping motion tends to release strain or tension that may be building up. And these exercises are low impact, which means you're not putting any additional stress on your muscles or joints. If you've been jogging but find that the constant pounding is causing pain in your knees, ankles or back, a trampoline is a great substitute. This is even more beneficial if you are just getting back into exercise after a leg injury.

Just your body weight is being utilized to strengthen and tone your muscles. You don't need any extra weight.

It's been proven many times over that exercise is crucial at any age. Senior citizens can benefit from a trampoline as well. Just 20 minutes each day will give you a great workout without straining muscles, bones and joints.

Most people spend some time each night either watching TV or a movie on the DVD player. Use this time to also bounce on a trampoline. Instead of being a couch potato, you'll be using this time to get rid of some calories, exercise your muscles, and increase your lung capacity. You won't miss your favorite show, and you'll be more healthy for watching it.

And you're workouts will be more fun, meaning it's more likely you'll stick with it for a long time.
